David Livingstone has a very supportive and active parent body represented formally through the Parent Council.  The Parent Council meet on the second Thursday of each month at 6.30pm in the school. Any parent from the Primary School or Nursery Class is welcome to attend the meetings.

Our Parent Council organise and run a number of fundraising events across the school year.  Funds raised are then donated to the school to pay for specific events and cost.  This year the Parent Council have funded the following:

The Christmas Panto

£100 given to each of our 11 classes to buy equipment for wet intervals

Athletics kit

Free Discos (including snacks and juice)

Travel – subsidising school trips and excursions

Money for playground equipment and toys
