Friday 16th December: Christmas Jumper Day

We are supporting ‘Save the Children’ this year by joining in with Christmas Jumper Day. You can participate by wearing a Christmas jumper or t-shirt to school, if you do not have a Christmas jumper, don’t panic, wear something red or green!

We ask if you do join in, that you bring a donation which will go to the ‘Save the Children’ charity. Thanks!

Christmas Post

During December, Primary 3 are running the Christmas Post. The post is collected daily from the postbox at the school entrance and delivered around the school by Santa’s Little Helpers!

Santa’s ‘not so little helper’ has been a great help in supporting the class with this!

ECO COMMITTEE

Our Eco Committee met today [9.12.16]

  1. We have decided to collect used stamps to support ‘Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.’ Please support us in this appeal by saving up as many stamps as you can and sending them into the school. (Please leave approximately 1cm of envelope around each stamp.)
  2. South Lanarkshire Council are campaigning to ‘Improve Air Quality’ through an ‘Engine Idling Campaign.’ Recently patrols were made around our school and drivers received ‘air fresheners’ for having their engines turned off! The Eco Committee support this campaign.
