Primary 1 chicks

Primary 1 have some special visitors in their classroom for a few weeks. We are incubating 15 little eggs and hoping they will turn into 15 little chicks! The children have been learning all about how the chicks have been developing inside their eggs. We can’t wait to meet them when they hatch! Miss. Smith intends to hold an event for parents to let you meet our chicks too!

World War II Visitors

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week Primary 6, Primary 6/7 and Primary 7 will each enjoy a visit from ‘Hope and Glory’ workshops as part of their learning about the war.  These provide the children with a great opportunity to see artefacts and experience different aspects of the war.

World Book Day – Thursday 3rd March

The teachers have planned fun activities based round reading and books for this day.  It will start with a readathon first thing and then be followed by a series of great activities for all children.  In the afternoon the teachers will be visiting other classes to read a favourite story before final judging takes place.
