Meet the newest member of David Livingstone Memorial Primary School,

Our baby hippo!

As part of the initiative, The Big Stampede, we are designing a hippo to be part of the trail in and around Hamilton. Everyone in the school has a template for the hippo which we have decided will follow a Scotland/ Africa theme to represent our namesake, David Livingstone. Ideas will be taken from the entries and transferred onto the real hippo!

The children are also thinking of a name for it. The hippo will be popping up all over the school and spending time in lots of different classes. We will keep you posted on the name, design ideas and adventures of the hippo as it makes its way through our school!
